It’s no secret that we live in a society of manic busyness. From the moment we wake up to the moment we go to bed we are running a race. Constantly racing to the top, racing to keep up, racing to look a certain way and have certain things. All of this leaves us feeling empty and wondering if this is it? When we loose ourselves to the race we find ourselves having all sorts of emotional and physical ailments.

Often times while we are in the race we are constantly taking care of others first and neglect ourselves which is harmful to our wellbeing. As the stress, frustration, depression, and anxiety build, in an honest attempt to feel better we consume everything. From the latest Netflix series to the newest fashion trends, we eat at the hippest brunch spots, buy the newest iPhone’s, and spend hours scrolling on social media.

But where does this leave you, where does this leave us as a culture? It seems the more time we spend running the race the less time we have to fill our souls. When was the last time you completely unplugged, laid under the stars, danced barefoot, had a meaningful face to face conversation, reflected on life, cried, sang your favorite song at the top of our lungs or laughed so hard it hurt?

In our deepest, most sacred selves we sense that we’re missing something. These intangible soul-filling things bring us great happiness and assist us in becoming the grandest version of our greatest selves. True joy comes from being spiritually aligned with the divine, while setting aside time and space to feel gratitude and experience new adventures that enrich and fill our souls with light, love, and wonder.

If your feeling drawn to a digital-detox with empowering women then this retreat is for you.We have organized Wild Wondrous Women in an area of outstanding natural beauty where guests trade in there phones for mindfulness yoga, workshops, and quiet time as a way to re-connect and reset from your daily demands.

Wild Wondrous Women's Retreat was founded on the principle of giving you the time and space needed to unplug and re-connect to your mind, body, and soul. For three and a half days you will get to trade in your computer, cell phone, emails, instagram feed, and all of that busyness for pure, off the-grid-bliss. This simple act will free up soul-space and open the door for fun, connection, and divine feminine enlightenment to flood in. The greatest favor you can give yourself is to put away your phone and take in the magic of the land, good friends, and exciting new adventures.

The pillars of each day are founded on empowerment, mindfulness, simplicity, creativity, joy, and re-imagining the world in inspiring and meaningful ways. This is why we are offering a safe, sacred space for you filled with nourishing plant-based foods, yoga, creative-workshops, evening circles, and plenty of time for you to sunbathe, walk the beach, or take a magical hike on Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (which was recently named the number one most beautiful place in America by Good Morning America...pretty cool huh?).

At this retreat, Wild Wondrous Women will be curating restorative yoga classes and life giving conversations on topics that matter most. Through an array of diverse workshops we will be able to explore how creativity allows us to contribute to the expansion of our greatest self. Throughout the retreat we will be focusing on the joy of living, how to more fully love and honor yourselves, and how to set empowering daily intentions in hopes of allowing healing and love to flow more easily. As women, it is important for us to detox, reclaim the divine feminine, and understand the interplay between the divine masculine and the divine feminine so that we can remember our true Wild Wondrous selves.

We are all about good-vibes only. Please note negativity, bullying, judgment, comparison, striving, and pride are not invited to this retreat. We encourage giving yourself permission to be kind and compassionate with yourself, and to do the best you can with whatever your working on at the moment. By bringing your authentic self to the retreat you will be better equipped to learn how to tend to your own needs first, to receive nourishing support, stay in tune with your natural rhythm and hear the wisdom of your wild and wondrous heart.

If you want to walk barefoot at the retreat then go for it, if you want to tell a funny joke or burst out into spontaneous song and dance then do it, if you need a good cry then let it flow. This weekend is about women coming together in a safe judgment-free, inclusive environment that feels good.  Our hope is that this retreat helps you remember what it is like to feel the divine feminine and a childlike wonder.

Anything is possible when we give ourselves the chance to let go. Come celebrate what it means to be alive and free. And always remember… wherever you are is exactly where you are supposed to be.
